As a ZIM Ambassador, you will earn commissions by introducing new people to ZIM.
Please read carefully the following information, before proceeding to submit your application as a Zimbassador.
Company product and services
ZIM offers a wide array of voice and data plans, including local phone numbers and unlimited internet, in over 200 destinations worldwide. ZIM is the perfect product for international travellers, digital nomads, and backpackers looking for a convenient digital solution to their connectivity problems.
Commission structure and ambassador programme
Earn an affiliate fee of 20% (of the value of the consumed good) when a new user purchases their first eSIM plan using your promo code. Track your referrals in your ambassador dashboard. At the beginning of the month, send us an invoice with the previous month’s earnings, and we will pay you within the next 15 working days.
Traffic guidelines and non running ads policy
These Guidelines form the minimum standards ZIM Connections expects off its Ambassador on any Platform or Traffic Source.
– ZIM Connections does not allow ambassadors to promote products with misleading claims or non approved discounts.
– ZIM Connections does not accept unavailable, incomplete, broken, empty pages or pages that can’t guarantee satisfactory user experience.
– ZIM Connections does not allow disruptive techniques like pop up banners, cookie stuffing, toolbars and browser extensions, plug-ins or any other sort of unstandardised activity unless they have been validated and approved by a member of the ZIM Connections team.
– ZIM Connections does not allow bots nor automated activity unless approved.
– ZIM Connections does not allow non-transparent publishers sites and sub-networks. We need to be able to understand the user journey and sub-publishers within our ambassadors.
– ZIM Connections does not allow an inappropriate use of the ZIM Connections brand (click-bait, intended errors etc…).
– The ambassadors must also comply with its obligations under its contract with the relevant network provider.

Moving to another site using a mobile device (smartphone, PDA, tablet). The site may be an official store like the AppStore, Google Play or the advertiser’s page.
Rich Media

Objects and advertising media comprising active graphical elements which interact with the user via sound, animation, video etc.
Doorways

A web page specially optimized for one or several search terms with the goal of attaining a high position in search results for these terms and the further redirection of visitors to another site or page.

ZIM Connections does not allow (unless previously approved) paid activity in its Ambassadors Program to refer traffic to ZIM Connections services. This includes but is not limited to PPC (pay per click), SEM (Search Engine Ads/Google), advertising on social media and apps platforms or bidding any kind of retargeting campaign. However, you are allowed to run advertising campaigns for your own sites or services.
Teasers (Content):

From the word ‘tease’ – an advertising message made up like a puzzle, which contains partial information on a product without demonstrating the item itself.
Click-under / Pop-under:
Prohibited
An advertising format used as one of the methods of attracting internet traffic, consisting of the absence on advertising platforms of any kind of banners, links etc., but when any part of the site is clicked the user is redirected to an advertising site.
Incentived Traffic
Prohibited
A service which offers non-material rewards for completing certain actions, such as leveling up in a game by publishing reviews, and other forms.
Toolbar

Traffic attracted using software with rotating advertisements. Usually in the form of quick-launch tool panels of services or apps.
Adult

Traffic for an adult audience with special 18+ offers. It may use photos or videos of an erotic or pornographic nature.
Re-targeting

An advertisement which repeats many times on the screens of potential buyers who have visited the site of an advertiser, but haven’t made a purchase.
